Ceiling Collapse from Pipe Burst

A homeowner visited a vacant rental property to find that a pipe on their second floor had burst leaving water to disrupt the kitchen and living areas below. The wood flooring in the living area was the main issue that needed to be dealt with as soon as possible. The water soaked through the laminate flooring and down to the sub flooring which needed to be retracted and dried out. From there other sections of the kitchen and living areas were dried and the kitchen cabinets were removed and replaced in addition to the flooring, appliances, and other aspects of the kitchen. Due to the delay in notice to the water damage, less action could be taken to save aspects of the affected areas.
